for this project, is quite interesting because we purposed to design and wear the costume that reflect our respective kingdom during the event. at the same time, we need to do practice performance, and many more..however , its awesome! i like it, mostly enjoy!

PROJECT 7 : XZbition 2013

RUS 104 XZbition is the 7th project that were held every year for the first year students. In there was shown all the projects that were done by thee students themselves from their first project until the last group big project. lecturer chose the best product to be shown in public. the committee member for project 7 and project 8, they have decided and agreed on the themes of the project 7 to be 'Floating Lines'.

That came up with beautifully as it should be.

for project 6a In a group of 16 members, all 12 groups of RUS104 need to design a comprehensive studio project that includes the aspects of site analysis, architectural and interior design, structure and material selection, simple costing, project management, and construction technique of the scale size building (model).The presentation drawings of the proposed amphitheatre stage design should consists of:

-          Key Plan (NTS) and Location Plan (NTS)

-          Site Inventory (NTS)

-          Conceptual Design sketches and relevant bubble diagrams

-      Site Plan (with roof plan of the stage and landscapes) (1:100 scale)

-          Floor Plan (1:50 scale) (along with the dimensions & specifications)

-          Elevations - Front, Rear, Right & Left Sides (1:50 scale)

-          Horizontal and Longitudinal Sections (1:50 scale)

-          3 Details of structural joints (1:20 scale)

-          at least 3 Perspectives drawings

for project 6b

our group is required to prepare two types of project report for their proposed ‘Amphitheatre Stage’, which are:

i)         Progress Report

ii)       Design Proposal Report (final report)

                    Progress Report

 §  As the project runs for 6 weeks, our group is required to produce a progress report for the project on weekly basis. The report should consist the following component:

1)       discussion on the progress of that week;

2)       discussion of the problem that have arisen;

3)       discussion of work lies ahead, photos of current progress;

4)       Schedule of work and cost involved.

                  Design Proposal Report (final report)

 §  The proposal should consist of the following elements/components:

i)                     Purpose, goal and objective

ii)                   Background study and site analysis

iii)                  Proposed design development

iv)                  Construction method, material selection & basic building services

v)                   Elemental Cost Analysis (ECA)

vi)                  Model Cost Estimate

vii)         Project Scheduling

For both Project 5a & 5b, we need to choose one of these 6 neighbourhood areas from the list below:

we need to make a self-visit (in group) to the chosen area to observe and gather relevant information about the components or elements of the neighbourhood area. The results from the observation and the collected information then will be analyzed and presented graphically in Project 5a and 5b.

my master studio break  us into groups, and each group he deside site where we can, that site is Sunway Bukit Gambier .. hhuhu closest site .. but it is difficult to analysis back .. hmm ... i try my best ... for this project i call project 1 million .. hehe ...

for 5a  On A2-size presentation board, we should draw the Key Plan (NTS – Not To Scale), the Location Plan (NTS) and the Layout Plan of the chosen neighbourhood area in scale (1:500, 1:750 or any appropriate scale).

5b  Based on the self-visit to the chosen neighbourhood area (where its current condition is presented in Project 5a), students should propose some suggestions to improve the physical and non-physical conditions of the neighbourhood area by presenting it graphically in the Project 5b.

for project 4,based on Project 3B (Objects Connection), we are required to produce a plan and elevations (front, right, left and rear) drawings of their wooden ComforTABLE CHAIR.

The drawings should be coloured based on the actual condition of their respective ComforTABLE CHAIR (not based on the colour of their structural model).

Drawings should be in A3 size and 1:20 scale.

Based on their ComfortABLE CHAIR design, we also required to produce at least one coloured:

i)                     axonometric drawing (1:20 scale), and

ii)                   perspective drawing (with human figure shown)

 Medium: 2A3 size cartridge papers on boards (standard template with landscape orientation)

from this project project I learnt skills in communicating the ideas and presenting their design through a set of scaled 2D and 3D drawings.

hmmmm...okay la...nice best I did...hehehe...:)

for this project we have given a task in group. where have three person in each group. name of our design is FAHANA. This name is combination of three of us namely Fatin , Hanisza and Nadia names. the main materials we use is wood seat, pillars, backrest. all built using wood, only additional seat we use only cardboard .our seat size is 555MM x 350MM x 215MM size we have chosen to scale 1:5 our order form L-shape because our motives for saving space and cost. Ensuring that's while our products have many uses. where chairs and table are connected once. our main concept is cheerful where in terms of unity. our concept of consistent and unique design ..okay..that all...:)

stresssss!! hohoho ... sculpture? hmm .. Actually I do not know want to do .. huhu .. due to the theme of the sculpture is 'HARMONY' I choose to make the lights .. and I use very stout material recycled goods. why I chose lamp because the light and easy for me to do ... hehehe .. at the same time, have camp pimpin .. Rushing for this sculpture! hohoho ..
